Maindample (Bonnie Doon) fly in at the Mat Smith Airfield is on the horizon again !
The weekend of the 18/19th of Feb 2012 is the date set!
As is always required if you have not flown in there before, you must receive a quick briefing from Bob Boyd at Yarra Valley Flight Training to operate into there. If you have, you know the procedure and to be mindful of the surroundings (mountains, etc). We would ask that you respond by email if you intend on participating!
Items to bring - Sleeping bag/pillow/toothbrush/sunscreen, etc. As there maybe an opportunity to go boating/skiing for some and fishing for others, the gear required for those activities may come in handy! Pack your bathers & towel! Arrival from 11.00am Sat and depart Sunday early Arvo. We can obtain food & alcohol at Mansfield (or you could take an oversized/weight Esky with you).
